Interactive Histology

Project Overview
Histology is a visually rich course where students learn to identify cell and tissue structure. Students have access to a complete set of slides throughout their course of study.

The Interactive Images for Histology were created using Java and runs on the Curriculum Web Portal. The interactive image web based program allows students to explore their lab slides from anywhere. The added value in viewing the slides this way is the rich annotation which details the specific structures medical students need to learn.
