The Anatomy Lesson The Anatomy Lesson (Mosby-Yearbook, Inc.)
The Anatomy Lesson (a component of the CLASS package available from Mosby-Yearbook, Inc.) is a question-based interactive program designed to teach first year medical students basic anatomy. The program uses the format of a discussion section with questions, diagrams, interactive images, and animations to direct the student's learning to important concepts as well as to help the student synthesize anatomy information. The interactive labeled images and diagrams allow students to learn and to test their knowledge by actively seeking out information. Leading questions focus the student on key structures and systems. An enormous database of multiple choice questions allows students to test their knowledge as they learn. Full color animations illustrate difficult concepts. Students can make use of the Anatomy Lesson in several different ways; the information can be accessed in textbook form, according to body region, or as an alphabetical anatomical atlas. Help screens assist the user in navigating between different sections and screens. Web Demo A demonstration is now available on-line!
