Resume
Pauline Brutlag completed her masters degree in Learning,
Design and Technology at the Stanford Univeristy School of Education
in 1999. Her undergraduate training was in Human Biology. She also
spent two years working at Macromedia on the Dreamweaver product
team, both as a quality assurance engineer as as community manager
of Dreamweaver's online developer's exchange. Pauline is experienced

and training, design for usability, developer relations and documentation.
Research Interests
Pauline has an interest in introducing targeted training tools
in developing countries with appropriate use of technologies. As
a result of her current project, she is interested in the latest
developments in vaccinology.
Current Projects
Pauline leads the Stanford team for the Advanced Immunization
Management e-Learning Project - funded by the Seattle-based Children's
Vaccine Program at PATH. New tools to educate immunization managers
in developing countries are needed to keep these health policy makers
current on the latest vaccines and procedures, and to provide support
in decision making. AIM e-Learning delivers up-to-date content and
engaging instructional tools, on either web or CD-ROM, to aid national
level immunization managers in developing timely, effective and
sustainable policy.
Pauline also currently helps manage the development of on-line modules
for a palliative and hospice care curriculum for care-givers, part
of the growing VA Palliative Care Network (http://www.hospice.va.gov/).
This project is in partnership with, and lead by, Dr. Vyjeyanthi
Periyakoil of the VA.
