Research Interests
Clinical orthopaedic practice inclusive of surgery
of the hand, shoulder and elbow, with an emphasis in sports medicine,
reconstructive surgery, pediatric surgery, and the spinal cord injured
patient.
Clinical interests include problem fractures of the
distal radius, congenital hand anomalies, and shoulder problems
in the wheelchair ambulator.
Research interests include use of synthetic bone substitutes,
outcome studies of hand surgery in congenital anomalies and epidermolysis
bullosa, inflammatory disease markers in rheumatoid arthritis, and
the use of multimedia in education of surgery, including interactive
web teaching and surgical simulation
