Description: The pectineus m. is a small m. of the floor
of the femoral triangle in the mid-thigh, lying in the same plane, but
superior to the adductor longus. It originates on the pectinate line and
ant. tubercle of the superior pubic ramus, and is inserted
on the pectineal line of the femur, near that of the iliopsoas m. The circulation is via a perforating
branch of the deep femoral a. , and the innervation is from L2-L4 via the femoral
and obturator nerves. |
