 Description:
The coccygeus
m. is a thin triangular sheet of m. continuous with the iliococcygeous m. anteriorly, originating
from ischial spine and sacrospinous
ligament, and inserting on the lower sacral margin and coccyx. The coccygeous m. combines with
the levator ani m. to form
the pelvic diaphragm. |
