Gaming and Simulation Based Learning: Applications for Medicine

You are invited to a ground breaking workshop, sponsored by TATRC West, to bring together the Western Region medical simulation community, in a discourse with luminary speakers from the gaming, simulation and education fields.

This first of a series of workshops will be held on Tuesday, January 25th, 2005, immediately before the MMVR13 conference, in Long Beach California.

The workshop series has two goals:
- to create a community of researchers and practitioners in immersive and simulation based learning in the Western Region of the United States, and
- to push the envelope in immersive and simulation based learning in health care.
