How to Use Distal Radius

This page orients you to the layout and navigation of Distal Radius.

How to navigate: the title (Banner) indicates the subject you are browsing. This will either represent a Case Study, a Related Topic, Questions, or Help section. The buttons on the left side (Navigation Bar) take you to the specific Case Studies, Help, Home, and Questions (rectangular buttons) or Related Topics (round buttons).

Relationship between Cases and Related Topics: the Case Studies highlight related topics of interest, which can be browsed at more depth by exiting the case. For instance, Case 1 provides an overview of developmental anatomy of the skeleton and the growth plate. This topic can be explored in more depth in the Developmental Anatomy section. Links appear where these exit points are found. Reenter the case by returning to the home page of the case, and finding the page where you left off. Alternatively, you can use the "Back" button (see below).

Working the Case Studies first will provide the best overview of Distal Radius. Subsequent journeys through the Related Topics will permit in depth exploration of a specific subject.

Icons and references: the image indicates references. Pass your mouse over the icon to see the reference.

Using the "Back" button: the navigation for Distal Radius is very smart, and knows your navigation pathway. If you encounter problems with page numbering or navigation back and forward, reorient yourself by returning to the Home page of the section you are browsing.

Mac Users: Occasionally the scroll bar does not appear to the left of the frame. This is a curious bug unique to Internet Explorer. Resize the window a tiny amount and the scroll bar will appear.
